You are invited to the next CCSD Research Masterclass Webinar for clinician-scientists, Successful partnership in research by A/Prof Jenny Low and Prof Ooi Eng Eong. They are now working together on the development of the COVID-19 vaccine that Singapore is participating in. They also have a long standing and successful partnership in Dengue research. How did they make the partnership work? Come and hear them share their stories and practical advice on making collaborations between a clinician and a scientist work. Come prepared for Q&A - your burning questions will be answered!

Prof Ooi and A/Prof Low are Co-Directors of the SingHealth Duke-NUS Academic Medical Centre’s Viral Research and Experimental Medicine Centre (ViREMiCS). They have collaborated on numerous research projects in dengue fever, yellow fever and COVID-19, and published their findings in top medical journals including Nature Medicine, Lancet Infectious Diseases and the New England Journal of Medicine. Both are clinician-scientists funded by NMRC and joint-recipients of the SingHealth Duke-NUS Research Team Awards 2017 (2nd prize) & 2019 (1st prize).
