You are invited to the next CCSD Research Masterclass Webinar for clinician-scientists, The Clinician-Scientist: All you need to know by Prof Wong Tien Yin. What is a Clinician-Scientist? Why are Clinician-Scientists important in Academic Medicine? Who should be a Clinician-Scientist? When should I be a Clinician-Scientist? How to be a successful Clinician-Scientist? How to avoid common mistakes of a Clinician-Scientist? Join us as Prof Wong answers these questions and more. Aspiring and emerging Clinician-Scientists are especially encouraged to attend.

Prof Wong is the Vice Dean of the Office of Academic and Clinical Development at Duke-NUS, which coordinates clinical and translational research strategy and execution across the SingHealth-Duke-NUS Academic Medical Centre. He is also the Deputy Group Chief Executive Officer (Research and Education) of SingHealth. As a clinician-scientist, he has published more than 1,000 peer-reviewed papers, received over US$50 million in grant funding as Principal Investigator, and received the National Clinician Scientist Award.
