Audience: all schools
Cascade: Headteachers, School Staff
North Yorkshire Together and North Yorkshire County Council would like to thank all schools for your support and hard work in helping us to deliver FEASTive - our Christmas holiday programme for children and young people who are eligible for benefits-related free school meals.
Delivery of over 12,000 letters and activity packs to families is no mean feat over a county as large as ours, and it just wouldn’t be possible without your help - thank you. We are also grateful for the feedback that many of you have shared, and look forward to implementing as much of this as we can as we evolve the programme in 2022.
Before pupils head out for the Christmas holidays, you might like to signpost them to the FEAST website through your newsletter or social media channels. Not only are there listings of all the activities on offer in your area, which are free for eligible families, there is also a huge range of online activities for everyone to enjoy. Plus you’ll find our ’12 Days of Christmas’ virtual sessions, for all children and young people to take part in variety of arts and crafts, dance and even yoga, from their own home.
For more information and to access the online sessions, visit the FEAST website.
If any family has a question about the FEASTive programme, they can contact hello@northyorkshiretogether.co.uk
Thank you! From the North Yorkshire Together team.
