• To draw your attention to the content of the SEND Green paper and the attached summary document
• To highlight the timescale for the consultation and the link to the survey
• To inform you of the awareness sessions to disseminate content and booking arrangements
• To encourage as many responses to the consultation to ensure that North Yorkshire has provided constructive feedback
Summary
The SEND Green Paper was published on 29th March 2022 detailing the proposals for change for SEND into the future. The link to the full document is here.

1. To consider the contents of the Green Paper and respond to the consultation by 1st July if you wish. We actively encourage as many organisations as possible to respond to ensure feedback is maximised
2. To book onto one of the the sessions arranged to disseminate and discuss the proposals if you wish
3. To help disseminate information on the parent/carer sessions via the school community
