Password Reset is Changing

  • Azure SSPR is now Active!

    Azure SSPR will replace SSRPM in June 2022 for staff and *students. If you enrolled in MFA, you can reset your password anytime. Initiating a password reset will send a text message to your phone. It's that easy!!

    If you did not enroll with MFA or if you wish to set up additional methods of authentication, click the Enroll Now button to continue.


    After enrollment, you can reset your password using your phone or security questions.

    Accounts are generated within 24 hours of joining the school/department. Usernames and temp passwords are distributed by the school/department administration.

    Read the complexity rules before enrollment or reset
    (cannot be performed with a temporary password)

     

    *Students have to enroll in SSPR before they can reset their passwords .  SSRPM is still available for students temporarily.

General information about password enrollment

  • AD Password enrollment will automate password synchronization between AD and other major systems such as GMail, Skyward and O365. 

    Password requirements:

    • Password length is a minimum of 8 characters.
    • Azure AD/Office 365 has a maximum password length of 16 characters for cloud identities
    • Passwords must contain characters from three of the following four categories: 
      • Uppercase characters 
      • Lowercase characters
      • 0 through 9
      • The following non-alphabetic characters: ` ~ ! @ # $ % ^ & * ( ) _ + - = { } | [ ] \ : " ; ' < > ? , . /
      • The password history policy setting remembers several previous passwords. You cannot use the same password when your password expires.
    • Passwords may not end with a space.
    • You may not use your first or last name as part of the password. For example, for the name "Erin M. Hagens," this user could not have a password that included either "erin" or "hagens" anywhere in the password.
    • Do not use common passwords like qwerty, password, letmein, password123
