Encounter-based Imaging

Our Team
Elliot Silver, M.Sc.
Principal
Elliot is an internationally recognized expert in healthcare IT interoperability and standards, specializing in medical imaging and health information exchange. He has served as co-chair for multiple HL7, DICOM, and IHE working groups and committees.
Elliot has over twenty years of experience in various software product development roles, including fifteen years of experience in medical imaging. Elliot is co-author of a number of journal articles, has presented at multiple conferences, and has delivered healthcare IT standards training (including FHIR and DICOM) around the world.
Elliot works to build consensus, and ensure multiple viewpoints are heard. He is detail oriented, and can adapt complicated technical material to the level and interests of his audience. He combines his subject matter knowledge and technical background with business insight.
Elliot was featured on the Society for Imaging Informatics in Medicine’s SIIMCast podcast on 20 November 2019. He also participated in a discussion of FHIR and DICOMweb for Canada Health Infoway’s Enterprise Imaging Community on 26 February 2021.
