Training for Healthcare Professionals

Beyond the Symptoms

Eating disorders can affect every system in the body, but it’s not always obvious that an eating disorder is the cause. This means that someone might be suffering from an eating disorder but approach a healthcare professional about apparently unrelated symptoms.

Delivered by clinicians with extensive experience in the field of eating disorders, Beyond the Symptoms is a CPD accredited training programme ideal for GPs, nurses, dentists, cardiologists, and many other healthcare professionals. It aims to help you identify when a patient has an eating disorder and confidently intervene early.

"A clearly presented, comprehensive course... It is well-referenced and there is plenty of good visual content to the slides to reinforce the key points. The resources provided to the learners – especially the extensive references provided for further learning – are strong. The course is well-constructed with a clear agenda."
